Inomai hails from the Yamanaka clan. Before the founding of Konohagakure, Inomai often used her clan's mind techniques to take control of small animals for simple hunting and gathering tasks rather than combat or espionage. While her control of weak-minded animals has proven noteworthy, she still has much to learn if she hopes to put those skills to work as a ninja.

Inomai is a backline fighter that relies on tactical positioning and timing rather than brute strength. She is more willing to gather information, assist in traps and ambushes, or provide support from the back than charging into the forray guns blazing fists swinging.
